The Florida Space Coast Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (SCHFES) is a group operated by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) members which includes professionals, students, and industry affiliates. Our chapter provides forums in which members can exchange information and ideas on human factors and ergonomics issues. We hold meetings, publish newsletters and sponsor events.

The National and Local Chapters of the HFES are the foundation of viability, survival, and growth of the human factors/ergonomics profession. Some of the reasons include:
